RETURNS and EXCHANGES
Return for Refund
When you purchase directly from ZVOX, you have 60 days to try your ZVOX system in your home, with your music, with your movies. If you don't love it, for any reason, you can return it for a refund*.
Please email us at email@example.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions. If the item being returned is a ZVOX speaker system, you are responsible for return shipping charges. If the item being returned is a VoiceBud, we pay return shipping charges.
To avoid any deductions from the refund, all returns must be in new condition and must include the original packing material, outer carton, any and all accessories which may include power cords, remote control, connecting cables, and instruction manuals. Refunds generally will appear within one to two billing statements on the same card used to make the original purchase. *Products returned without an authorization and RMA# will be refused.*
ZVOX may refuse a customer return or charge a restocking fee when the returned item is not in “like-new” condition and/or properly packaged. Be sure to retain the ZVOX Audio carton and packing materials throughout the term of the 60 day "return for refund" period. A replacement ZVOX Audio carton/packing set is $30, shipped prepaid to your address. Other conditions that may result in a refusal or restocking fee include, but are not limited to:
- A different serial number than the one ZVOX originally shipped.
- Missing parts/accessories or the original product packing material.
- Damage because it was improperly packaged for return shipment.
- Damage from drops, spilled liquid, or mishandling.
Please note: our 60-day money-back return policy applies only to systems purchased directly from ZVOX Audio on www.zvoxaudio.com. If you buy a system from a ZVOX reseller, or from us via another Marketplace (Amazon, EBAY, etc), you should refer to their specific return policies.
In-Warranty Exchange or Repair
If you need to contact us for an exchange or repair, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 866-367-9869 for instructions. Please have the item number, description of the problem and serial number handy. If you did not purchase the unit directly from us, we will also need to see a copy of your sales receipt or invoice. At our discretion, we will repair or replace the item under the terms of our warranty.*Products sent in for repair without an authorization and RMA# will be refused.*
Out of Warranty Repair
If your ZVOX systems needs repair when outside the warranty period, follow these instructions:
- Contact ZVOX for an REP# and instructions to send the unit to ZVOX Audio's Service Dept.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
- Products returned without an authorization and REP# will be refused.
- Most repairs are covered under the ZVOX $89.99 Flat Fee Service Package. Estimates will be provided for repairs incurring additional costs.
- ZVOX will repair or replace the unit with one of equal quality, at our discretion.
- Customer is responsible for shipping the ZVOX in its original carton, or contacting us to purchase a replacement carton.
- ZVOX is not responsible for any in-transit damage due to improper packing.
- Units that are damaged in transit due to improper packing will be returned to customer in the condition they were received.
*Expedited shipping charges not refundable. We reserve the right to apply re-stocking for units that are returned without all accessories and/or are damaged in transit, due to poor repacking. Please read your RMA email thoroughly for details.
The ZVOX Audio Carton/Packing Set Policy
A ZVOX Audio ZVOX System must be shipped in its specific ZVOX Audio carton and padding. The padding has to be positioned properly within the carton. A ZVOX System that is shipped in any other type of packaging is almost certain to sustain damage. The ZVOX Audio carton/padding set is a costly, reusable container. ZVOX Audio urges a ZVOX System owner to flatten and store the carton and padding used to ship your ZVOX System. A replacement carton/padding set is NOT covered under the terms of the ZVOX Audio one year warranty.
The original carton/padding set must be kept by the ZVOX Audio owner to exercise his or her 60 day refund. A new ZVOX Audio owner cannot exercise his or her 60 day refund should he or she elect to discard the carton and padding.
Should a ZVOX Audio owner elect to discard the carton/padding set, a replacement carton/padding set must be purchased in order to submit a ZVOX System for repair under the ZVOX Audio one-year warranty. ZVOX replacement carton/padding sets are available for purchase from ZVOX Audio for $30, including shipping. Call ZVOX Audio at our toll-free number 866-367-9869 to order a carton.
ZVOX USA Warranty
All ZVOX systems, purchased from ZVOX directly or from a ZVOX authorized reseller*, are backed by a One Year Limited Parts and Labor Warranty.
To the original purchaser of a ZVOX Audio system in the United States of America, ZVOX Audio warrants the ZVOX Audio system to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.
To obtain a warranty repair of a ZVOX Audio system, a Return Authorization must be obtained from ZVOX Audio. With respect to defects, ZVOX will, at its option, repair any defect in the product or replace the product at no charge to the original purchaser for parts or labor. If ZVOX Audio elects to replace a system, the replacement system will be equivalent to the condition of the ZVOX Audio system as received by ZVOX Audio for service. The repair of a ZVOX Audio system by an independent service agency is not supported.
This ZVOX Audio warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the ZVOX Audio system if the ZVOX Audio system was purchased in the USA from an authorized ZVOX Audio reseller*, and used in the United States of America. ZVOX Audio does not provide service or support outside of the United States of America.
The only acceptable method of establishing warranty status is a copy of the original proof of purchase from an authorized ZVOX Audio retailer, including the ZVOX Audio product name, the customer’s name and the purchase date. The warranty period starts from the date on the proof of purchase of the ZVOX Audio product.
This warranty does not extend to any defect, malfunction, physical damage or failure caused by misuses, abuse, accident, faulty hookup, improper electrical source, defective associated equipment or use of the system with equipment for which it is not intended.
To obtain service on a ZVOX Audio product: The owner of the ZVOX Audio product should first contact the ZVOX Audio retailer that sold the ZVOX Audio system to inquire about warranty service. If the retailer does not provide service for ZVOX products, please contact ZVOX Audio directly at email@example.com or (866) 367-9869 to obtain a Repair Authorization. ZVOX Audio reserves the right to refuse or return any products delivered to ZVOX Audio without prior written authorization from ZVOX Audio. Do not send a ZVOX Audio system to ZVOX Audio for repair prior to obtaining a Repair Authorization. A Repair Authorization from ZVOX Audio does not include the cost of shipping the ZVOX Audio system to ZVOX Audio.
The Repair Authorization number should be included inside the carton . The Repair Authorization number should be marked on the return shipping label on the outside of the carton.
Shipping carton and cushions: This 1-year limited warranty does not cover the cost of a replacement shipping carton and internal packing material. A replacement shipping carton and packing materials can be purchased from ZVOX Audio if you no longer have the original carton and packing. The genuine ZVOX Audio carton and packing material for your specific ZVOX Audio model must be used to ship your unit to ZVOX Audio. ZVOX Audio urges you to keep your system's shipping carton and all the corner and side cushions.
Shipment to ZVOX Audio.
The owner is responsible for shipping charges to ZVOX Audio using the shipping method of their choice. The ZVOX Audio system should be shipped to the ZVOX Audio address provided in the Return Authorization. ZVOX Audio is not responsible for physical damage sustained by a product in shipment back to ZVOX Audio, regardless of the nature of the Return Authorization. ZVOX Audio suggests using a shipper that provides you a tracking number.
Once the repair has been performed, ZVOX Audio will then ship the unit back to the customer with no charge for shipping. ZVOX Audio will only ship to locations in the United States of America.
For a ZVOX Audio system owner outside the United States of America: A ZVOX Audio system owner outside the United States of America should contact the ZVOX retailer in the country where they purchased the ZVOX system to inquire about warranty service. You may then be referred to the authorized ZVOX Audio distributor in that country.
This is the sole and express warranty. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability, fitness for purpose or otherwise. In no event shall ZVOX Audio LLC be liable for incidental or consequential damages or have any liability with respect to defects other than the obligations set forth as stated. Except as provided herein, ZVOX Audio LLC shall have no liability or responsibility to the purchaser or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by use of the product, including, but not limited to, any incidental or consequential damages.
