AccuVoice TV Speakers

WHAT IS ACCUVOICE?

AccuVoice is the trademarked name for patent-pending technology that lifts voices out of soundtracks to make them clear and understandable. AccuVoice works much like hearing aid technology, but uses a much more advanced processor that is capable of subtle manipulation of sound. Some of our models also feature SuperVoice, which takes dialogue clarity to a new level by dramatically reducing non-vocal background sounds.

How Is AccuVoice Different to Other Sound Speakers?

An AccuVoice sound bar, Bluetooth speaker, or home theater system is not like the other sound speakers you may come across. We take sound to a whole new level as the leader in dialogue clarifying technology..

Sound Speakers Built for Clarity

When you're struggling to hear what's happening on screen, you naturally turn up the volume, but this turns everything up.
Our TV speakers are created with proprietary digital algorithms that separate the voices from the rest of what's happening on screen, making watching TV a more enjoyable experience. Our sound speakers manipulate voices very much like a hearing aid does, providing you with crystal clear sound.

Surround Sound Equalization

There are numerous systems that claim to make voices clearer, and most of them do provide some improvement. However, most other systems focus on equalization -- a fancy name for tone control -- to make certain frequency ranges louder than others.
Equalization is only one small part of what the AccuVoice system does. By combining compression, consonant-range boost, formant enhancement, and minimization of bass output -- plus some proprietary techniques we would rather not divulge, the ZVOX AccuVoice system creates outstanding results. Listen for yourself!

Speakers That Are Simple to Install

Many other TV speakers on the market come with lengthy installation manuals, but we aim to get you up and running with quality sound as soon as possible.
You only need to connect one wire to your TV to experience everything our speakers have to offer. And, for even greater control, you can make use of Bluetooth technology to adjust your speakers via a wireless receiver and your smartphone. Listening pleasure is just moments away.

Drown Out Loud Commercials

Nothing ruins your TV viewing quite like loud commercials. Fortunately, many of our speakers provide an Output Leveling (OL) feature.
This unique processor makes soft sounds louder and loud sounds softer, ensuring you can tune into the TV audio you really want to. Audio quality doesn't get better than this.

Why Can't I Understand Voices on TV?

There are three main reasons why more people are struggling to understand voices on their TVs.

Hollywood Is Mixing Sound for Drama, Not Clarity

We recently Googled the phrase "hard to understand dialogue movies" and got 162 million hits. Hollywood is using more adventurous audio mixing techniques – often resulting in unclear TV dialogue.
Ann Hornaday of the Washington Post recently described a blockbuster Hollywood movie as having "a muddy, thuddingly loud sound design, in which the score and similarly thumping sound effects render spoken dialogue a submerged garble." She's not the only one complaining. Dozens of web articles in the last two years complain about soundtracks with muddled, hard-to-understand dialogue. From Downton Abbey to The Walking Dead to football announcers, it's an epidemic.

Flat Screen TV Sound Systems Are Awful

TV manufacturers put very little effort or expense into TV speaker systems, typically using half-inch rear speakers. The dark secret of TV manufacturers is they can't care about sound quality. TV designers are in a market-share war, trying to outdo the competition with thinner, sleeker TVs…TVs that aren't big enough to house even a mediocre surround sound system.
The ultra-small, poorly-aimed speakers in the average flat or smart TV are often incapable of reproducing human speech clearly and accurately. And the really bad news is that TVs are getting even thinner.

Baby Boomers Listened to LOUD Music When They Were Young.

For the first time in the history of the United States, there are 95 million people over the age of 50…and many of them have some degree of hearing loss.
Combine these three factors and the result is a huge number of people finding it increasingly difficult to understand dialogue on TV. So what's the solution?
Conventional hearing aids don't solve the problem because they can't improve TV sound quality. They just let people hear bad TV sound more clearly. A home theater system offers much better sound than the speakers built into TVs. But they are often complicated and expensive. And simpler, more affordable sound bars rarely feature a center speaker – crucial for accurate dialogue reproduction.
Plus many sound bars include a boomy wireless subwoofer, which actually interferes with voice clarity. Unlike these other products, the AccuVoice TV Speaker is specifically designed to render crystal clear dialogue and sound quality.
